Duncraig Christian Fellowship is associated with the Christian Community Churches of Australia.

Beginning in February 1984, with a group of around twenty Christians meeting for the first time in a coffee lounge in Duncraig/Sorrento Recreation Centre. Since then God has Blessed Duncraig abundantly, growing in numbers and moving to our own brand new building located next to the Sorrento/Duncraig Recreation Centre. Duncraig Christian Fellowship is made up of a group of people who, as sinners like everyone else, have experienced God's forgiveness through Christ and His death for us. We are now enjoying God's peace in our hearts and delighted that God has accepted us into His family through Christ, and because of this, it is our greatest joy to share God's forgiveness, His love, and His acceptance with others.

Following the patterns of the New Testament Churches, the only categories of "officer" we recognise are the Elders. The local church, together with these officers, is directly responsible to Christ who is it's head. Duncraig Christian Fellowship is pastored and led by this group of elders called by the Lord and approved by the Church members. Duncraig Christian Fellowship currently have four elders. These elders are also supported by Church members and various DCF ministry team leaders.

Functions of Elders

1. To rule (KJV) or manage, direct (NIV) - (1 Timothy 3:4 & 5:17)
2. To lead - (Hebrews 13:7)
3. To oversee (i.e. superintend) - (Acts 20:28)
4. To feed and tend to the flock (to shepherd) - (Acts 20:28 & 1 Peter 5:2)
